After Olive, the dog, mishears the line “All of the other reindeer . . . ,” in the lyrics to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, as “Olive, the other reindeer . . .” she decides she must be a reindeer and clearly Santa will need her help! Off she goes on her adventure to the North Pole. Seibold’s whimsical illustrations complement Walsh’s gentle tale of the importance of being helpful to others.
